Enjoying and Promoting the Australian Shepherd in NSW
Most Versatile Australian Shepherd NSW Rules The Most Versatile Aussie (MVA) Award is
offered to recognise the Australian Shepherd which best combines the
attributes of the Breed Standard, Obedience, Agility and Herding. Bitches in-heat will be allowed to participate
with arrangements being made to allow them to participate at the end of
the events in obedience and agility for the purposes of the MVA only. To be judged as a separate event in breed by an
approved judge. MVA must be 3 disciplines and must be entered
in a Breed class and Herding plus 1 other event or may enter all events. Ties for awarding the Most Versatile Aussie
Award and will be then work on the dogs scores. To be judged as a separate class with Dog &
Bitch being separate. Dogs and Handlers running in Multiple Rings Consideration will be given for dogs and
handlers running in multiple rings across disciplines. However, owners
and handlers must make every effort to be ringside when required. MVA Scoring Principles

Started Herding – Qualifying Tests: PT – 5 points HT – 4 points HIC – 3 points Conformation: 10 points for
1st place, 9 points for 2nd place, 8
points for 3rd place, 7 points for 4th
place, 6 points for 5th place, 5 points for 6th
place, 4 points for 7th, 3 points for 8th,
2 points for 9th, 1 point for 10th
place. 1 point for
every dog entered that does not place that qualifies.
